We went to the beach today. Had a great time snorkeling, enjoying a warm, sunny February day in Hawaii. We then decided to hit our favorite lunch place, The Ponds.
We walked in the front door….and were greeted by Darryl, our usual waiter, who had seen us pull into the parking lot, had already poured our “usual” drinks, and handed them to us at the entryway.
We are either
1. too predictable
or
2. too frequently seen at that place
Nevertheless, it was nice to be “noted” as a regular….and he was appropriately tipped for great service!
