I yam what I yam…

I have experimented with ice cream flavors since buying my Wally World churner several years ago. At first I made the “usual” stuff: chocolate, strawberry, vanilla. Then one year my Jaboticaba tree flourished and I used some for ice cream. One year we were having guests and I asked for their favorite flavor which was coconut: sweetened condensed coconut milk filled the bill! This year I have an ABUNDANCE of avocado, and mixed avocado puree with condensed coconut milk and cream for a surprisingly wonderful treat.
….but yesterday I saw a can of sweetened condensed Ube (purple yam) milk and ……ERMERGERD!

Ingredients:
2 pints half and half
2 pints heavy whipping cream
1 can condensed sweetened Ube (purple yam) milk

Mix all ingredients together and pour into your machine and churn according to directions.
