Before and after….

You know, I either run or ride by these falls on an almost daily basis. But today, because I had an “earphone malfunction,” I actually stopped and LOOKED at one of the several waterfalls I pass on a daily basis. Amazing what one can simply pass by without really paying attention…..

I couldn’t get to work today due to landslides across highway 19, spotty cell service, lots of downed trees…..and the chimney blew off the guest house water heater. Yesterday as I was getting ready to leave for work, a 4.5 earthquake hit (about 30 miles north of our place)….I didn’t feel it but the chickens would not come out of the henhouse. No earthquakes today, but it’s cold (for us…), windy, and the chickens still were not willing to come out of the henhouse…..otherwise so far all is well…
