Baked Salmon with Sausage-onion topping

1lb salmon filet

4 brown and serve sausages, thawed and ground (or equivalent amount of ground sausage of choice)

1/3 cup French’s french fried onions

Salt/pepper to taste

1-2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup shredded cheese


Place filet skin side down in a baking dish. Salt/pepper to taste. Crush the onions and mix together with the ground sausage and shredded cheese.  Cover the filet with the sausage mixture. Drizzle the butter on top.

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until filet is flaky.
