No, not from playing my ukulele….it’s from winemaking!
My latest batch of lilikoi wine has “ripened” and so I bottled it yesterday. In preparation, I took my super-duper-sized aluminum pot and boiled all my winebottles and caps to sterilize them.
In removing the bottles from the water bath, my mitten hotpad dipped into the boiling water. I couldn’t get the damned thing off fast enough!
And so, in the immortal words of Ringo Starr (no, it wasn’t John Lennon…..), “I’ve got blisters on my fingers!”
