“Now, as I was saying, before I was interrupted…..”
Those of you who are older than dirt may remember those words spoken by Jack Paar on his return to the Tonight Show on March 7th, 1960,after having walked off the live broadcast six weeks earlier. His departure was in protest of NBC’s censorship of one of his jokes. I remember Jack Paar, and I, my friends, am no Jack Paar.
But I, too, was interrupted virtually mid-speech by loss of the host server for The Hroost just before Christmas.
Thanks to DS who has worked unabated to restore hosting, rebuild the site and generally “upgrade” the facilities.
And thanks to Google cache, where much of old Hroost material was still waiting for me in cyberspace.
Now, as I was saying……
